Isles: Forms of Isolation
2018
Identity, Event Collateral
Isles: Forms of Isolation is a proposed exhibition for Honolulu Museum of art featuring the enigmatic and emotional figural illustrations of UK-based artist Owen Gent. In his work Gent explores themes of solitude, depression, and isolation in an age of perpetual digital connection.

The identity of this project centers around the type mark and custom lettering style, which reflect the tension between isolation and connection. The collateral for this event includes a save the date mailer, invitation and exhibition catalog, RSVP card, and badges, as well as an Instagram page and proposed mobile app.
